"What a lovely pub. Converted cinema & bingo hall steeped in history. Loved all the paraphernalia on the walls and in the lobby areas Definitely in my top ten of the 130 Spoons we have visited so far. Would have loved to sample the accomodation but we were booked in elsewhere. Would definitely come back if we were in the area. Food & beer prices typical Spoons. Car park opposite & on the road closed by. Very popular venue."
"A wonderful pub and hotel. I have been going there since it opened, alway a good atmosphere. In the old days the steaks were wonderful, but now the Wetherspoons menu is pretty dire. Here however, it is always cooked well and arrives promptly and hot... Staff have always been top notch too. The Guinness is EXTREMELY well poured too!!!"
"First time we had stayed at any of the Wetherspoons hotels and if thus place is truly representative of the rest we will stay at many more. Room was sizable and clean. Pub was spacious to allow conversations to take place whilst the overall atmosphere was lively but friendly"
"We had an excellent full English breakfast here and the service was very good, as was the fresh coffee! It's a quirky place with a firm nod to its history and the surrounding area. There's plenty of parking and it is just a stone's throw from March Town Centre where there is a wide variety of shops and places to eat."
"Had a very good room looking over the High Street, it was very clean and fresh, obviously have a great cleaning crew! Although we looked over a drinking area, due to it being the month of March we had little or no noise from there. Can honestly say it was a very pleasant stay. Would def book there again as its a great staging place if visiting the area."
